Board members
Mr. Igors Meija graduated from University of Latvia Law School in 1992. He started his career in the National Television as producer of a popular program on economics. Later on Mr. Meija established his own consultation company specializing in areas such as impact on public opinion through use of advertisement and public events, public relations, market research, image, as well as advising enterprises on areas to concentrate their activities in. Major clients of this company were companies Latvijas Mobilais Telefons, Sonera, Alcatel (Norway), Latvenergo, The World Bank, Rigas udens, Hoetika and Rigas gaisma.
By joining Apprime Mr. Meija is continuing his 20 years experience as company manager. Since 2010 he is also the chairman of the board in construction company Constructus Ltd.
Mr. Meija had formed his strong character early on by playing for the national youth team in handball. He still pursues regular physical activities of jogging, swimming, playing tennis and down-hill skiing. Enjoys literature and movies on historical events and outstanding personalities; likes traveling and angling.
Is fluent in Russian and English languages.
